Qualification requirements

  • (1)Persons aged 18 or over who have completed 12 years of school education through the normal course in their home country
  • (2)Those who have Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5, J-TEST F Level, NAT-TEST Level 5, or equivalent or higher Japanese proficiency
  • (3)Those who have studied Japanese for more than 150 hours in their home country

Selection process

  • (1)We will examine the contents of the application documents, confirm and examine the intention to study abroad, study abroad, educational background, financial situation, etc.
  • (2)Written test and interview for the applicant
  • (3)If necessary, we will conduct an interview with the financial supporter such as a family member to confirm the content of the application documents
    (Admission may be denied depending on the results of the screening process.)

Notification of selection results

  • (1)Notification of acceptance or rejection will be issued based on the selection results.
  • (2)Successful applicants will receive detailed information about admission procedures and obtaining a student visa.

□ Certificate of Japanese language study or proof of Japanese language proficiencyThe original 150+ hours of study
Example: Notification of test results for JLPT, JPT, J-TEST, NAT-TEST, etc.

Documents to be submitted by financial supporter

□ Statement of financial supportUse the school’s designated form.
□ Official document that proves the relationship with the applicantCertificate of family register, certificate of parent-child relationship, birth certificate, certificate of kinship, etc.
□ Certificate of incumbencyIf self-employed, business certificate, business license, etc.
□ Tax payment certificateStatement of income or income amount (last 3 years)
□ Bank balance certificateIn the name of the financial supporter: about 2 million yen

Guarantor in Japan (if the guarantor is in Japan)

□ Statement of financial supportUse the school’s designated form.
□ Certificate of residenceCertificate of residence issued by the ward office for Japanese nationals, For non-Japanese, Certificate of Registered Matters of Alien Registration (all family members must be listed).
□ Certificate of incumbencyIf self-employed, business certificate, business license, etc.
□ Inhabitant tax taxation certificateIssued by the ward office (showing gross annual income for the last 3 years)
□ Bank balance certificateIn the name of the financial supporter: about 2 million yen

  • (1)Additional documents may be required, as they vary from person to person.
  • (2)Documents to be submitted may differ depending on the applicant’s nationality.
  • (3)The above documents issued by schools and public institutions must be within 3 months from the time of application.
  • (4)Submitted documents will not be returned, but the originals that cannot be reissued will be returned.。

Flow from application to admission

(1) Application for admission Please complete and submit the application form, resume, and statements of reasons for studying abroad.
(2) Document review Notification of first pass
(3) Transfer of entrance examination fee Please transfer the entrance examination fee of 20,000yen.
(4) Interview, written test, document review In person or online
(5) Notification of acceptance Successful interviewees will receive a letter of acceptance to be sent to them or their agent.
(6) Submit visa application documents
(The Immigration Bureau will examine your status of residence)
The application for the “Certificate of Eligibility” will be processed using the submitted application documents.
It takes about three months for the examination by the Immigration Bureau.
(7) Announcement of examination results
Issuance of Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
The applicant or agent will be notified of the pass/fail result of the issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility.
(mid-February for April students, late August for October students)
(8) Payment of Tuition and Fees We will send you the original Certificate of Eligibility immediately after payment of tuition and fees.
(9) The applicant himself/herself Application Procedures for Student Visa Please take your Certificate of Eligibility to the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country.

(10) Visa acquisition
(11) Air ticket arrangement After making arrangements, please inform the school of your arrival schedule.
(12) Arrival and Entrance We recommend coming approximately one week prior to enrollment.
